Is the seller easy to bully? The buyer's malicious claim was rejected but he still asked for a refund

The issue of returns and exchanges has always been an important cause of disputes between sellers and buyers, especially when they encounter malicious returns and exchanges, which is even more troublesome for sellers. Cases such as receiving products that have been swapped or returned as inferior products are even more common in sellers' feedback, and many times sellers can only blame themselves for their bad luck.

Recently, a seller shared his own strange experience. The buyer claimed that he did not receive the package and submitted an AZ claim. After Amazon's judgment, there was a photo of the package being received after opening the door. Therefore, this request was rejected by Amazon. "In this case, the claim was made outside the policy, or we detected that the customer activity violated our policy."

Despite this, the buyer continued to ask the seller for a refund. The seller didn't know what to do with this situation, because the buyer had placed three orders, and this was the first package he received. If the refund request was not accepted this time, the seller was worried that the buyer would still receive such unreasonable requests for the next two orders, or even retaliate with bad reviews.

Sellers in the comment section have expressed their opinions, and many of them support sellers in safeguarding their own rights. They have already defended one AZ claim through Amazon and will continue to defend the other two.

Seller A: It is completely wrong to refund because Amazon supports you on AZ and will be more likely to side with you next time you claim, so there is no reason to refund. In this case, the fraudulent activity of the denied claim will only increase in the eyes of Amazon, and they are more likely to ban the buyer than the seller.

Seller B: If you refund now, the scammer might think you are going to return the other two packages as well, which could result in worse outcomes.

Seller C: If you show the scammers that you are an easy target, they will eventually try this tactic again on you or other sellers. Once they succeed, they will spread the word and make us vulnerable to these scumbags.

Malicious refunds and returns cannot be tolerated, and sellers must take various measures to protect their rights when encountering such situations.
