Yesterday, Dunhuang.com issued a new announcement, stating that it will revise the implementation rules regarding banned and restricted sales of goods.

Dunhuang.com stated that in order to clarify the scope and identification criteria of prohibited and restricted sales of illegal goods, the rules have been updated. The key points of the update are as follows:

1. Prohibited and restricted sales - Firearms, ammunition and accessories category adds military drones, air guns, holsters and other prohibited and restricted sales products, and adds relevant content on prohibited sales of imitation gun accessories;

2. Prohibition and Restriction on Sales - New items such as sharpened artworks and batons have been added to the category of controlled tools, and clear standard requirements have been set for some prohibited sales items of controlled knives. In addition, illustrations of cool sticks and batons have been added;

3. Prohibition and restriction on sales - Medical device category: The fourth category of pharmaceutical equipment is renamed as medical consultation and medical services and pharmaceutical-related equipment, and a new prohibition on publishing service information about medical or health care and related detailed descriptions is added;

4. Prohibition and Restriction on Sales - Pornography and Violence Category: Add the provision of pornography-related services and explanations of various forms of pornography and violence; Add a new fourth category that prohibits the release of image products and related content containing various exposures, violence and other illegal situations;

5. Prohibited and restricted sales - sensitive commodities have been newly added to the restricted list of audio-visual products, including DVDs, VCDs, etc., car diagnostic instruments containing software, VR products with pictures showing maps and film and television information, and other publications;

6. Prohibition and Restriction on Sale - Collection category has been newly added with a ban on publishing 1:1 counterfeit currency and related materials for making and counterfeiting currency. Note: Added that non-prohibited props/toys banknotes must meet the requirements of uploading a ruler image and copying ratio in the description;

7. Based on the above rule changes, corresponding content descriptions are added to the content descriptions of pornography and violence, medical devices, firearms, ammunition and accessories in the prohibited (restricted) sales rules.

Dunhuang.com emphasizes that sellers are requested to read the rules carefully and are prohibited from selling related illegal products. The rule revision was released on November 8, 2021 and officially took effect on November 15, 2021.
