Supply chain breaks, many countries in Europe, America and Australia fall into "labor shortage"

Due to the epidemic, many countries around the world have experienced supply chain disruptions. Vietnam has stopped work, China has restricted power supply, and in addition, seaport congestion in some parts of the world, workers' strikes ... and a series of other problems have aggravated the normal supply of the supply chain. European and American countries and Australia have even begun to fall into a "labor shortage" situation.

It is understood that in the United States, not only are the shelves of large household items empty, clothing is seriously out of stock, people are frantically buying daily consumables such as drinking water, toilet paper, detergent, and even food is in short supply.

Due to the long-term impact of the epidemic in the United States, the unemployment benefits and relief funds issued by the government are even about twice the minimum wage in the United States. As a result, most Americans are unwilling to go out to work even if they receive unemployment benefits. There is a shortage of workers in farms, processing plants and transportation positions, resulting in excessively high freight costs for products. As a result, meat prices have risen, and even KFC in the United States has experienced a phenomenon of "no chicken to fry".

The founder of an American tea drink even said that the lack of pearls in bubble tea has become a national problem. Since the pearl raw materials for European and American bubble teas are almost entirely sourced from China, and there has been a shortage of truck drivers and transportation stagnation, the supply of bubble tea in the United States has been very tight.

Since Brexit, the UK has been facing serious job vacancies in many jobs across the country, the most obvious of which is truck drivers. According to British fuel retailers, 90% of gas stations in the UK are sold out of fuel. The reason is not a shortage of fuel, but a serious shortage of transport drivers. All the fuel remains in port refineries.

There are no butchers in the slaughterhouses, and hundreds of thousands of pigs have to be destroyed due to the high cost of raising them; cauliflowers are rotting in the fields with no one picking them, there is a serious shortage of workers in processing plants, and supermarket shelves are empty.

Labor shortages have erupted not only in Europe and the United States, but also in Australia, with industries such as farm plantations and elderly care experiencing labor shortages. Relevant personnel in the country have even called for opening up overseas immigration to solve the labor problem.
