Amazon launches new feature to help sellers save time creating shipments!

Recently, Amazon US released a new announcement, stating that it will use Send to Amazon to save time in creating shipments.

Amazon said that the updated process of sending goods to Amazon will provide a faster and simpler way to create shipments to replenish sellers' Amazon logistics inventory. At the same time, it emphasized that there is no additional fee and no registration is required .

When using Send to Amazon, sellers can do the following:

1. Edit unit quantity after creating a shipment

2. Send small packages and LTL shipments through Amazon partnered carriers or carriers selected by the seller

3. Ship multiple SKUs in one box

4. Upload Excel file to create shipment

Sellers are talking about this, and many sellers say that the system is not yet perfect, and the new shipment process is even worse, making the shipment work more arduous. The editor found a seller on the Amazon seller forum who analyzed the drawbacks of Amazon's new plan after trying it many times.

The disadvantages of Send to Amazon are:

1. The program does not allow merchants to send shipments with multiple expiration dates

2. The program does not allow merchants to configure multiple different types of product packaging for each shipment

3. When sellers switch between SPD and LTL, the cargo system often crashes

4. The Active Shipments Management interface forces sellers to modify existing pages instead of allowing sellers to open shipments on a separate page

5. The program often creates large errors in pallet estimates and does not allow sellers to pre-set

Sellers suggested that the program needs to improve the following features:

1. Allow sellers to use a simpler way of working, providing a catalog of all existing case configurations for modifying SKUs, rather than creating an entire workflow

2. Configure preset packaging for the entire pallet of SKU

3. Use the tracking function of multiple shipment locations on the same page in the seller's independent carrier system

4. Pre-set declared value for SKUS packages sent by the seller's independent carrier

5. Send the import of SKUs to Amazon case configuration

Amazon's launch of Send to Amazon was not a whim, but was intended to provide sellers with a more convenient shipping system. Although the system is not yet perfect and has some cumbersome work, I believe that Send to Amazon will become a mainstream qualified system in the future. Sellers should keep up with the policy and learn how to apply it as soon as possible so as not to affect future sales plans.
