Cainiao Express has been built over six years and has been upgraded from a delivery business serving Tmall Supermarket to a national express delivery network . It focuses on quality services such as half-day delivery , next-day delivery , door-to-door delivery and night collection. It provides five 100% commitments in nearly 300 cities across the country , including late arrival, compensation for damaged goods, compensation for failure to deliver to the door, interception in transit and change of destination in transit .

It is understood that Cainiao Express was born to meet the market's demand for high-quality express delivery, with its main focus on "Cainiao self-operated, quality express , easy to use and inexpensive ". Its services are benchmarked against the best in the industry, and its prices are both cost-effective. It provides a rich product matrix based on timeliness and weight, covering all weight classes of parcels including large, medium, small and tiny items.

It is reported that dairy industry leader Yili started trialing the Cainiao express service in some of its flagship stores on Tmall last year. Complaints about logistics issues dropped by 30%, logistics costs for promotions dropped by 30%, the return rate was halved, and the proportion of repeat purchases from old customers increased by 10%.
