The latest hot selling trend in the US market, search volume for 4 major product categories has skyrocketed!

Recently, Spot , a consumer data research organization in the beauty industry , announced the latest hot selling trends in the U.S. beauty market.

 

Data shows that there are currently four categories of products that are hot-selling in the US market, namely plum-colored lipstick, skin tone correcting foundation, lip sleeping masks and hair dye products.

As orders were issued to lift masks and resume socializing, sales of lipstick products began to soar, and plum-colored lipstick became the most popular lipstick color in the United States .

 

Data shows that there are 4,800 searches for plum-colored lipstick per month in the U.S. market , a 553.3% increase compared to the same period last year , and demand has seen a concentrated outbreak.

 

Skin Correcting Liquid Foundation

To help even out skin tone and address redness and skin aging , U.S. consumers are looking for skin-correcting liquid foundation products . Related search terms include redness, creamy skin , anti-aging , etc. , and there is demand for products such as creams, powders, primers, and pressed powders .

 

Among them, green concealer, which helps cover up redness, acne marks and rosacea, is very popular, with a 55.9% increase in search volume compared to the same period last year. In addition to concealer, brands should also consider innovating skin care and beauty products such as moisturizers, sunscreens, and foundations for skin color correction.

Research shows that traditional lip balm can no longer meet the needs of American consumers, who are looking for a more ritualistic self-care experience. The most direct manifestation of this is that lip products are becoming more skin-like.

According to Spate's research data, most American consumers are looking for products with color-enhancing effects. Related search terms include: salon, gray, gloss, etc.

 

In addition, fashionable milk tea-colored hair dye and copper-colored hair dye are also very popular, with searches for milk tea-colored hair dye increasing by 151.4% and copper-colored hair dye increasing by 22.5%.

 

As the US epidemic control is gradually relaxed, the beauty market has begun to release strong purchasing power. Among them, women aged 18-36 are the main consumer group. Women at this stage are basically about to enter society or have already established themselves in society. Therefore, they have high requirements for beauty and personal care products, and the demand for products is very high.
