On May 16 , reporters learned that in order to reduce the impact of the epidemic on merchants' warehousing and distribution, Tmall International provides merchants with intelligent warehouse network planning based on product characteristics and consumption data analysis, supports flexible site selection for warehousing in multiple locations, or one-click transfer between different warehouses to improve delivery efficiency.

Cross-border goods under the traditional bonded warehouse model are often shipped nationwide from one warehouse. Last year, Tmall Global launched an intelligent warehouse network, which allows merchants to flexibly choose warehouses for stocking. During big sales and holiday consumption seasons, it can significantly improve delivery efficiency.

In addition to smart warehousing, on May 16 , Tmall Global also announced the 6 18 logistics guarantee service for cross-border merchants , and worked with Cainiao to speed up the unblocking of key logistics nodes such as cross-border transportation, customs clearance, warehousing, and distribution, so that cross-border goods can be imported and moved quickly, and orders can be smoothly delivered to consumers.

In order to ensure smooth delivery of overseas goods to China, we provide intelligent logistics solutions for cross-border merchants who prepare goods for Tmall 6 18 in advance. According to cost and efficiency, they can freely switch between cross-border transportation modes such as land , water , air , and rail , as well as landing ports . Merchants who used to enter China through Shanghai Port can switch to Qingdao, Ningbo and other ports with one click, and store goods in local bonded warehouses on the spot, reducing domestic transportation costs.
