Recently, Amazon US released a new announcement, saying that it has added a theme email template for brand sellers. This Customer Engagement tool can help sellers create email campaigns and increase sales.
The specific contents of the announcement are as follows:
The Customer Engagement tool enables brands registered in Brand Registry to engage with their subscribers via email . All brands with subscribers can use this tool , and brands with 1,000 or more subscribers will get the best experience using this tool .
Sellers can now create themed emails using the Customer Engagement tool , which includes multiple holiday ad templates , with new templates rolling out monthly . Using these themed templates, sellers can recommend gifts to customers for upcoming holidays, New Year, travel adventures , game days, and other holidays . In response to Amazon’s new announcement regarding emails in the US, many platform sellers expressed their doubts.
Seller A: Is this tool for FBA sellers or FBM sellers?
The announcement did not specify whether it was exclusive to FBA, but only mentioned that brands registered in the Brand Registry could use it. However, some sellers mentioned that they were registered brands with subscribers and stores, but they could not use the tool yet.
Seller B: So now Amazon wants us to contact customers? If buyers have notifications turned off, will they still receive these emails?
In response to this question, seller Digi-Battery replied that he believes that the customers reached through email are limited to those who subscribe to your brand, so having an Amazon storefront and posts is the most basic requirement.
Digi-Battery also mentioned that Amazon actually released a beta version of the tool last year, and he had seen a guide to using the tool on the JungleScout website.
Seller C: I wonder how many brands actually have 1,000 subscribers? Amazon is probably targeting a pretty select group this time. Buyers nowadays no longer leave feedback or reviews, and the chances of them clicking to subscribe are low, and Amazon must know that.
Since Amazon has just released an announcement about this tool, there are many details that we are not sure about yet. We can only wait and see how the Amazon platform progresses in the future.
Sellers who currently have access to the tool can note that specific step-by-step instructions for setting up email campaigns can be found on the Manage Your Customer Engagement page. To review the email details before submitting your campaign, click the Preview button next to Start Campaign. policy operations Amazon Platform |
