Made in Cymru platform officially launched, Welsh sellers can join

Foreign media reported that a new market platform called Made in Cymru was officially launched recently, providing Welsh sellers with a platform to showcase their products to a wider audience.

The platform is reportedly expanding its reach to all businesses producing handmade gifts, products and crafts following a very successful soft launch earlier this year. Sellers can currently list products for free in the following categories: Art & Collectibles, Apparel & Shoes, Health & Beauty, Home & Living, Jewelry & Accessories, and Weddings & Parties.

For Welsh sellers, the platform is a new market opportunity. They will use the platform to display more products and greatly increase sales.

Michael Gwynne, founder of Made in Cymru, said: “We are very excited to be launching Made in Cymru and opening it up to sellers from across Wales .

He added: “The site has been developed in conjunction with local businesses in North Wales and based on their positive feedback we are now rolling it out nationally to give every independent company in Wales the opportunity to retail on the site. Made in Cymru is about making it as easy as possible for retailers to increase their reach and expose their products to a wider audience.”

It is reported that despite the severe epidemic situation in various parts of the UK in the past year and the challenges faced by the whole country , there has been a surge in consumers who want to buy locally and support independent businesses . Made in Cymru has recognized this phenomenon and market prospects and created an innovative platform for independent sellers in Wales, allowing everyone to showcase their products to interested audiences.

To attract sellers, Cymru has also given certain discounts. Selling on Cymru will enjoy the following advantages: you can list your items for free ; you only need to pay a 10% transaction fee for each order , which includes payment processing fees ; each product listing has its own unique URL for you to share on your social media profile ; payments are processed on Shopify's secure system and SSL encrypted platform to ensure that the fraud detection system can protect you and your buyers .
