The reporter learned from Tmall that a number of small and medium-sized brands achieved leapfrog growth during this year's Tmall Double 11. As of 0:45 on November 11, 411 small and medium-sized brands whose sales exceeded one million last year have exceeded ten million this year ; and 40 brands whose sales exceeded ten million last year have exceeded 100 million this year.

 

In addition, from November 1 to 0:45 on November 11, 382 brands had sales of more than 100 million yuan on Tmall Double 11. Among them are not only a large number of popular domestic brands such as Huawei and Hongxing Erke , but also international brands such as Apple and L'Oreal. Time-honored brands such as Pechoin and Huili, as well as new brands such as Bananain and Tineco, have also made it to the list of brands with sales exceeding 100 million yuan.

 

Zhuben, a Chinese cosmetics brand, participated in Tmall Double 11 for the third year this year . Its co-founder Shen Donglai exclaimed: "The sales are crazy!" Before celebrating, the Zhuben team was busy adjusting the stock. Within two hours of the Tmall Double 11 pre-sale opening, Zhuben's sales reached 1 million pieces, with a pre-sale amount of nearly 130 million yuan, 10 times more than the same period last year.

 

 

The sales of original designer bag brand Guliang Jiji also exceeded the expectations of its founder Guliang. "This year, we expect to sell 70,000 bags on Tmall Double 11, which is three times the number of last year!" He said that Double 11 also boosted the development of partners. "Since last year, the skyrocketing sales have revived the partner's factory, accounting for two-thirds of the factory's production capacity and keeping 1,000 workers busy."

 

Since the beginning of this year, Tmall has launched more than 30 cost-cutting and efficiency-enhancing initiatives for merchants, including free business advisors and reduced return shipping insurance fees . During the Double 11 period alone, it launched 14 support measures for merchants, including various subsidies, pre-sale and payment collection financial services, etc., to create a better operating environment for merchants and bring in greater business growth.
