Halloween products are becoming increasingly popular in the UK, with searches surging by 146%!

Recently, Party Delights, an online costume and party supplies retailer in the UK, announced its Halloween sales record in October. In the first two weeks of October, the party supplies retailer's Halloween sales were 35 million pounds, an increase of 65% compared to the same period in 2020, and a 36% increase compared to sales in 2019 before the epidemic.

Party Delights also said that as Halloween approaches, sales are expected to see even stronger growth . The number of Halloween-related searches on the party supplies retailer's website is 146% higher than the same period last year , and British consumers are planning a memorable Halloween.

According to data from Party Delights , the top five Halloween costumes sold so far are cheerleader zombie costumes, spider girl costumes, dazzling death costumes, children's bat costumes and Dracula boy costumes, most of which are characters from horror and suspense movies. Party Delights also said that most adult Halloween costume sales occurred in the last two weeks of October.

In terms of Halloween party supplies , the top five best-selling products are Halloween party gift boxes , spider web decorations , glitter chandelier decoration kits, Halloween cauldrons , and cauldron- shaped snack buckets.

On the Party Delights website, the fastest-growing sales were in high-value animated props, priced from £39.99 to £299.99. The top five items in this category were a giant Halloween clown with glowing eyes , an animated zombie clown figure , an animated werewolf figure , a witch riding a broomstick and a seesaw clown figure .

Claire Glasby, managing director of Party Delights, said: " We are experiencing an unprecedented increase in demand this Halloween , breaking all our previous sales records . " Party Delights ' goal for Halloween this year is to exceed the sales of Halloween in 2019 and 2020 combined.
