Amazon store outage affects more than 38,000 users

Amazon has been plagued by problems recently. According to a recent report on the Reuters website, the failure monitoring website Downdetector said that the e-commerce giant Amazon's online store has experienced large-scale failures . This is the second large-scale interruption of its services since the end of June this year .

The Amazon online store was out of service in the United States, India, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Singapore. The main problem was that error messages were displayed on domain names in several regions , and users were unable to access product lists on their domain names .

Large-scale regional outages in Amazon's online stores will affect a large number of Amazon users around the world. According to Downdetector data, more than 38,000 users reported problems with Amazon's online store website, and nearly 500 users reported problems with Amazon's network services.

However, it should be noted that a considerable number of sellers on the Amazon platform are from China, and the data on platform problems encountered by Chinese sellers will not appear in the Downdetector report. In other words, the large-scale failure problems that occurred in Amazon's online stores should affect more than 40,000 platform users.

Downdetector reports that about 80% of the problems Amazon encountered this time were website problems, 15% were login problems, and 5% were checkout problems . The current response from customer service is: This is a system problem and the technical department is fixing it.

An Amazon spokesperson said: "We're sorry that some customers may have experienced issues when shopping. We appreciate your patience and we're working to resolve the issue." As of now, an Amazon spokesperson said that the temporary problems some customers encountered when shopping have been resolved.

It is becoming increasingly difficult for sellers on Amazon today. There are warnings for fake orders, waves of account bans, inventory backlogs, and endless platform rules. In addition, they are always facing the risk of Amazon system failures. It is really one thing after another. In such an environment, it is really difficult for sellers to operate smoothly.
