You can get your money back! WishPost launches A+ Logistics Refund Guarantee Program

Recently, Wish issued an announcement, announcing the launch of the A+ Logistics Refund Guarantee Plan to help merchants recover some of the losses caused by refunds due to logistics and other reasons.

The A+ Logistics Refund Guarantee Program launched by WishPost is available to all merchants in mainland China. However, the program is still in the trial stage and only applies to A+ Logistics Program orders to the UK, South Korea and Italy. As the program expands, it may support more destination countries/regions in the future.

It is understood that this plan is a managed logistics service launched by Wish for certain countries, aiming to improve the overall logistics performance and user experience of the supported countries with a unified and comprehensive logistics solution. Merchants will automatically join the A+ Logistics Plan after opening the countries supported by the project, without registration and no additional fees. Merchants only need to deliver the packages of the A+ Logistics Plan orders to the designated domestic warehouses, and Wish will be responsible for the subsequent fulfillment.

According to the announcement, if sellers want to obtain a refund under the A+ Logistics Refund Guarantee Plan, they need to meet the following conditions:

1. The creation date of the relevant WishPost waybill is after 10:00 a.m. Beijing time on August 9, 2021.

2. Meet any of the following time requirements: ①. The corresponding A+ logistics plan order is delivered to the designated A+ logistics plan warehouse or HUB transit warehouse (for merchants using HUB transit warehouse) within 72 hours (i.e. 3 natural days) after being released to the merchant and scanned into the warehouse. ②. The corresponding A+ logistics plan order is collected by a logistics service provider supported by Wish (Yanwen, Wanse; merchants using HUB transit warehouse can use STO Express) within 48 hours (i.e. 2 natural days) after being released to the merchant.

3. Within 4 calendar months after the creation of the corresponding WishPost waybill, A+ Logistics Plan orders are refunded due to "Shipping taking too long", "Item did not arrive" or "Item marked delivered but user did not receive it" .

4. The seller must create no less than 10 A+ logistics plan waybills for the same destination country/region within a natural month .

Regarding the time of refund issuance, Wish stated that starting from December 2021, Wish will calculate on a monthly basis and refund a certain amount of shipping fees to the merchant's WishPost account at a certain ratio . Factors affecting the specific refund amount include but are not limited to the following: the number of A+ logistics plan orders sent by the merchant to the same destination country/region within a calendar month; the shipping fees paid by the merchant for all eligible A+ logistics plan orders to the same destination country/region that are subject to refund.

Simply put, the more A+ Logistics Plan orders a seller has and the earlier the delivery/collection time, the more orders will be eligible for the A+ Logistics Refund Guarantee Plan. It should be noted that the A+ Logistics Refund Guarantee Plan does not apply to refunds or delays caused by legal and regulatory adjustments, force majeure, natural disasters, social abnormal events, etc.

For sellers in related fields, being able to get compensation can solve some of their worries and is good news.
