Cumulative transaction volume exceeded 120 billion won, and Korean e-commerce HIVER is growing rapidly

In the Korean e-commerce market, in addition to the Warring States mergers and acquisitions between comprehensive e-commerce platforms, the vertical platforms have also started a Spring and Autumn competition mode.

Since its launch in November 2018, HIVER, a Korean male e-commerce shopping platform, has been on an upward trend and has grown rapidly . According to Korean media reports, HIVER's cumulative transaction volume has reached 120 billion won so far , and the cumulative number of app downloads has exceeded 5 million.

As early as March this year , HIVER achieved a monthly turnover of 10 billion won , and now the cumulative transaction volume has exceeded 120 billion won . Last year , it set a new record of 3 million cumulative app downloads , and in the first half of this year, it exceeded 5 million .

In fact, it is not surprising that HIVER can achieve such results!

Previously, the "Fashion App User Status" data analyzed by mobile big data platform company IG Works through mobile index showed that HIVER 's monthly active users (MAU) in May reached 690,000, ranking first among Korean men's clothing apps.

In the eyes of many industry insiders, HIVER , which ranks first in the number of men's clothing application users , is expected to leap to the top of South Korea's men's clothing e-commerce platform with a cumulative transaction amount of 120 billion won .

In addition to monthly active users, HIVER's success is also due to the significant expansion of its product catalog since the second half of last year. With more than 6,000 sellers and more than 2,000 brands, HIVER not only provides fashion, but also technology, famous brands, beauty, sports, outdoor sports and other product categories that meet the lifestyle of MZ generation men.

Jaemin Seong, head of marketing at HIVER, said: "HIVER quickly led the vertical platform trend in 2018 and created today's growth. This year's transaction volume target is 300 billion won, and we will do our best to make HIVER the best men's shopping app that actively reflects customer needs and leads the market."

As a male e-commerce shopping platform, HIVER has been implementing a " tailor-made strategy for men" since its launch, which is to provide a well-planned shopping environment for men's lifestyles . 95% of the consumers on the HIVER platform are men , and this data also proves that this development strategy is correct.
