Thousands of stores have been sued for infringement and may face huge claims!

While the cross-border e-commerce industry is developing in full swing, infringement cases and disputes involving products or trademarks are also common. As Chinese cross-border e-commerce companies occupy half of the cross-border e-commerce market, they have received many notices of various trademark and patent infringement lawsuits.

Especially since this year, various long-standing infringement cases have emerged like mushrooms after spring rain, and the crackdown has become increasingly severe!

Recently, a hidden case represented by Keener Law Firm, a professional intellectual property rights protection law firm in the United States, has been frozen. It is reported that the plaintiff brand in this case is [ SUPERCALLA magnetic absorption data cable], and the number of defendant stores is as many as 227!

As a magnetic charging data cable, SUPERCALLA magnetic storage data cable is simple and clever to use, meeting all the consumers' obsessive-compulsive needs for data cable organization, and therefore has attracted the support of many consumers.

It should be noted that this case is a hidden case, and the specific indictment cannot be seen, so the copyright issue is still unknown! However, according to verification, the " SUPERCALLA " trademark has been applied for registration by Smooky Moon 2, LLC, so if the seller uses this trademark, there is also a risk of infringement.

In this case, there are 227 stores involved in the case , which is shocking enough. But there are even more outrageous cases!

As early as March this year , some sellers had issued infringement warnings about " WEED SNATCHER ". Although some sellers stopped in time, many sellers still failed to get rid of the infringement hat in the end!

It is reported that in the infringement lawsuit regarding the trademark " WEED SNATCHER " initiated in June by David Gulbransen Law Firm on behalf of Ruppert Garden Tools, LLC. , there were as many as 1,254 defendant stores , covering multiple cross-border e-commerce platforms and independent sites such as AliExpress, Newegg, and Shopify .

As a brand focusing on gardening tools such as weed clearing , the trademark " WEED SNATCHER " has been registered by Ruppert Garden Tools, LLC. Therefore, if sellers have relevant information, they should remove the relevant products as soon as possible.

In these two infringement cases, the intensity of the crackdown on infringements has left many sellers dumbfounded. And with so many stores involved, the final compensation and settlement will surely be a huge number! This also serves as a reminder to sellers: Beware of infringement! Beware of infringement! Beware of infringement!
