Although the peak season has passed, online retailer Zulily conducted a survey of 1,000 mothers in the United States and found that 68% of mothers will buy gifts for themselves and their loved ones during this time.

 

Zulily analyzed sales data and Google's hot search terms and concluded that February is the time for moms to stock up on items, from home decoration to cosmetics. The detailed items and trends are divided into the following categories:

 

Buy beauty products to relieve your mood

 

After wearing masks for nearly two years, beauty products have given mothers a little comfort. 58% of respondents said they believe that buying beauty products is a relatively low-cost way to relieve and boost their mood. Most mothers will stock up on beauty products in February, such as eyebrow trimming tools, lipsticks, and cosmetics, before sales soar in March.

 

Buy your summer vacation essentials ahead of time

 

In order to prepare for the fun of summer vacation at home in advance, mothers will "strip shopping" before the summer and buy summer vacation necessities in advance because the discounts are the greatest at this time. Sales of flip-flops, sunglasses, swimsuit cover-ups and one-piece swimsuits will soar in March.

Although there are discounts during Black Friday and traditional holidays, Zulily is able to offer lower prices than other online retailers throughout the year. Many mothers forget to buy gifts for themselves during the year-end shopping festivals, so most of them will go to Zulily to look for discounts after the peak season .
