Another Amazon 3C seller account is down, the reason may be related to manipulation of reviews

According to the American technology website The Verge, after many big sellers in the cross-border circle were blocked , another big seller of electronic products on the Amazon platform also quietly disappeared: Choetech, a Chinese 3C seller known for its cheap wireless charging .

As a wireless charging brand launched even earlier than Samsung and Apple and available on Amazon, Choetech's market covers more than 80 countries and regions including North America, Europe, Southeast Asia, China, and the Middle East. But now, Choetech is in the same situation as its predecessors!

When visiting Choetech 's seller page on Amazon, you will find that the company's product interface is only left with the remaining product video and a large blank product area, and no response when you click on it . Now when searching for Choetech on Amazon , only products from other sellers will be displayed. It has to be said that this wave of operations is very Amazon-like.

Choetech did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Although Amazon has not yet confirmed the reason for Choetech's removal, The Verge also revealed that when Amazon customer service staff was asked about Choetech, Amazon simply pointed to a blog post about new crackdown measures published by Amazon on June 16. Therefore, many foreign media also speculated that Choetech's "cause of death" is probably the same as its predecessors: illegal manipulation of reviews.

According to sources, Choetech was actually removed a few days ago, and the earliest news about its disappearance on foreign social media may date back to July 3 or July 4. Calculating the time, it is actually basically the same time as Amazon's sports camera, hunting camera and dashcam brands Campark and Toguard were shut down.

Although the financial information of the company that owns the Choetech brand has not been released, it should be noted that the sales of the companies that own the two major brands Campark and Toguard that went bankrupt in the same period of time were both close to 2 billion. Therefore, the sales of the Choetech brand are obviously not ordinary!

But even such big names have still fallen one after another under Amazon's high-pressure policy of cracking down on fake reviews. Losing the opportunity to sell on Amazon is a heavy blow to any brand, especially at a time when e-commerce is booming more than ever.

There have indeed been frequent reports of big sellers being blocked recently, but this also serves as a reminder to small and medium-sized sellers. The past is a lesson for the future, and seller friends should still be down-to-earth and operate with integrity!
