Verizon Media, which acquired Yahoo in 2017, recently announced plans to launch Yahoo Shops , opening up a new diversified online shopping market with local business capabilities.

 

Yahoo is an Internet portal that provides diversified network services to more than 500 million independent users worldwide . Verizon Media, a large American telecommunications company, valued Yahoo 's deep relationship with its customers and acquired Yahoo in 2017 while retaining its own brand .
