It is reported that Ozon's new logistics center will have comprehensive capabilities such as production, warehousing and distribution , with a total construction area of more than 236,000 square meters.
The press office of the Moscow Ministry of Investment, Industry and Science revealed that Ozon 's total investment in the project is expected to exceed 5.4 billion rubles (about 468 million yuan), and the new logistics center will be completed and open for use this summer.
According to foreign media reports, the construction site of Ozon's new logistics center is located in the Olintir-Zapad Industrial Park in Istra, Moscow Oblast , and Ozon is also the first "resident" to settle in the park.
The Olientier-Zapad Industrial Park covers an area of 107.4 hectares and has very convenient transportation . The industrial park is close to major traffic arteries, located at the intersection of Russian federal highways A-107 and M-9, and about 35 kilometers from the Moscow Ring Road, which can ensure that the orders are delivered as quickly as possible after packaging.
Ozon 's choice to open a new logistics center in Istria will help it expand its logistics and distribution coverage and speed up the delivery of orders. At the same time, it will also allow platform sellers to reach consumers in more places.
The construction of the new logistics center will also create local jobs. Ekaterina Zinovieva, Minister of Investment, Industry and Science of Moscow, said that after the completion of Ozon's new logistics center, 6,500 new jobs will be created in Istria.
With the development of online shopping in Russia, the logistics demand of the e-commerce industry continues to increase. In order to meet the increasing demand and seize development opportunities, many e-commerce platforms and logistics companies have begun to increase the number of integrated warehouses and expand the area of integrated warehouses.
This has further boosted the hot commercial land market across Russia, especially warehouse land. Analysts said that due to the epidemic, the demand for commercial office and shopping center land has declined. However, due to the rapid development of online shopping in Russia, the demand for warehouse land has bucked the trend. Kommersant reported that the demand for commercial warehouse land purchase and leasing in Yekaterinburg increased by 27% to 35% last year. Russia Ozon |
