Sellers must pay attention! 74% of consumers care more about real buyer shows

For consumers, what is attractive may not only be the refined pictures shown on the product details page, but also the real pictures posted by buyers in the product reviews. According to the latest survey by Bazaarvoice, nearly three-quarters (74%) of consumers care more about the real buyer's show when making a purchase.

It is crucial for sellers to master effective means of attracting traffic. In addition to attracting traffic, improving conversion rate is the key to product sales. Real product renderings are often more persuasive than beautiful texts . For products of the same price, consumers tend to choose products with high ratings and real evaluation pictures.

According to a report by Bazaarvoice, the next step in the retail industry will be to redefine consumer demand . 62% of respondents said that if they could see pictures and videos posted by customers who had purchased something, they would be very interested in buying it. This means that consumers' original content will lead brand and product marketing , and original and real product pictures can drive consumer purchases more than refined pictures.

Especially for products with relatively high prices, the quality of reviews is an important factor in determining whether consumers will buy. 36 % of consumers said that they would carefully read reviews before buying electronic products to understand the product experience as a reference for whether to purchase the product in the end.

In this regard, one netizen commented: "No matter what product I buy, I will always use reviews as an important reference, especially the product pictures in the reviews. Compared with product descriptions, I prefer the usage effects in the reviews. Good reviews can make me feel more confident when buying."

The survey also shows that the most trusted reviews by consumers are a combination of text and real pictures. The overall score of the product is also a concern of consumers. The higher the score, the more likely consumers are to buy.

"The more reliable reviews a product has online, the more trust consumers have in the brand, " said Joe Rohrlich, chief revenue officer at Bazaarvoice . "The more authentic the customer reviews and pictures are, the more likely consumers are to buy."

Compared with offline shopping, online shopping is virtual, which can easily make consumers feel insecure about the product, and product reviews are an important reference for consumers when purchasing. Therefore, to improve the conversion rate, sellers should not only ensure product quality, but also plan product reviews, guide customers to post more real product pictures, and attract more potential customers.
