What is CapBridge? CapBridge Review, Features

Founded in 2015, CapBridge is a Singapore-based fintech service provider that operates a stock exchange in Singapore called 1exchange (1X), which may plan to offer cryptocurrency trading.

About CapBridge

CapBridge is a leading private capital raising platform led by entrepreneur Johnson Chen and managed by a team of experienced investment professionals. CapBridge is licensed by MAS and its shareholder is Singapore Exchange (SGX).

Advantages

1. Fair valuation

With CapBridge’s knowledgeable and professional institutional investors, fundraising companies can focus on more meaningful discussions and receive fairer valuations.

2. Increase investor value

By matching investors from related sectors with the right companies, CapBridge increases the chances that management teams will gain value from such investors, ultimately benefiting investors and company growth.

3. More efficient transaction process

With highly advanced and user-friendly online tools, CapBridge's platform sits on an enterprise-grade software backbone and is backed by military-grade security. All CapBridge processes are streamlined and optimized to complete transactions efficiently.

4. Better investor awareness

Investors and companies are not forced to negotiate and determine a valuation for the company at the time of investment, which is often a time-consuming, expensive and difficult process in traditional equity fundraising.

5. Adjust risk

The typical term of a company’s convertible notes in the pre-IPO stage is about 3 years (conversion/repayment), and the company can set the applicable discount rate, valuation cap and conversion rights to manage the risk and reliability of its investors’ investment and founders’ share.

6. Reduce borrowing costs

Convertible bonds generally have lower borrowing costs than conventional bank loans because they contain rights that allow for repayment of equity (rather than actual cash) at a lower interest rate.

7. Speed up fundraising with “preferred access”

Accelerating the fundraising process with the help of accredited and retail investors, CapBridge provides a platform to accelerate AI and RI wealth raising through Preferred Access.

Financing

In September 2019, CapBridge received US$4 million in strategic investment financing from Hanwha Investment Securities.

Development

- In 2017, Capbridge received approval from the Monetary Authority of Singapore to set up a small exchange in Singapore to help startups and medium-sized companies raise funds and trade shares in Singapore. The exchange established by Capbridge is called 1exchange, which aims to provide companies with convenient financing and trading services.

-On July 18, 2019, Capbridge announced that it had entered into a strategic business partnership with Hana Financial Investment Company Limited (HFI).
