About Act + Acre

• Act + Acre founder and celebrity hairstylist Helen has always been passionate about effective clean hair care and couldn’t find any products for her clients so decided to create Act + Acre: the world’s first scalp-focused cold treatment hair health brand;
• Originally from Ireland, Helen and her husband Colm created and patented the Cold Processed technology to create their plant-based products. This avoids traditional heat-based production which reduces the potency of the nutrients in the seed oils. Sustainability is key to the brand, through the packaging we use, the ingredients we include, 90% less energy to create our products, and the wind farm we financed in Mumbai.
