-1994, opened first store. With the help and support of Missouri Bookstore, Pearson, Cengage, John Wiley, and McGraw-Hill, TextbookRush CEO Phil was able to open and operate his first bookstore in a 121 square foot office in Columbus, Ohio. Phil had 1,100 books and sold 700 books in the first district at Ohio State University;

-In 1998, Phil opened his second store. He bought Buckeye Books, one of Ohio State University's four campus bookstores. His bookstore grew from 121 square feet to 2,500 square feet.

- In 2001, he opened an online bookstore called TextbooksRus;

- In 2003, the company moved to an office near Wood Avenue in Columbus, Ohio. The company has 50 employees.

-In 2008, a marketplace-only site, Bookstores.com, was launched, which is a marketplace similar to that offered by TextbookRush.com, but with a global reach;

-In 2009, we added 55,000 square feet of warehouse space to our current location in Grandview Heights, Ohio, tripling the size of our previous space. The new facility can hold 750,000 books. In addition, we added video games and DVDs to our website;

-In 2013, the company changed its name from TextbooksRus to TextbookRush. Rush the Rabbit became the company's logo, and the slogan became "Your Online Campus Bookstore";

- In 2019, counterfeiting was a common problem in many industries, including the textbook industry, and we implemented anti-counterfeiting best practices designed to combat counterfeit textbooks.
