Q : What is a payment gateway and how does it work?

A : A payment gateway is a digital platform that enables the integration of a checkout page on a website, e-commerce platform or social channel dedicated to sales. Thanks to a payment gateway, it is therefore possible to accept online payments, either by payment cards or other digital methods such as APM (Alternative Payment Methods) and wallets.

Q : What is the registration code?

A : The registration code is a unique numeric code that identifies you. You can find it on the letter you received your card in or on the first page of your Nexi statement. It is essential in order to register on the Nexi Pay website or app and to be able to manage your card, for example to view your PIN. You can find it on your bank statement or on the letter sent to you when the card was first issued. It is not present on renewal letters. If you cannot find it or you do not have these documents, please contact our Customer Service Department, keep your card close to you and slowly enter your card number if necessary.
