Velocity Limit refers to the upper limit of the seller's sales speed that increases too fast. A new account will be reviewed for a significant increase in sales performance in a short period of time. Amazon will monitor the number of product transactions and transaction amounts of sellers over a period of time. If the seller's sales speed in a certain month is too fast and the sales volume soars to the sales speed limit, Amazon will automatically evaluate the seller's account to determine whether the sales speed limit needs to be increased.
About Velocity Limit Velocity Limit is to prevent unscrupulous businesses from cheating and endangering the rights of consumers and other Amazon sellers. When a merchant is targeted by Amazon, there will be a seven-day shipping restriction. If the merchant passes the Velocity Limit Review, Amazon will lift the restrictions on the merchant and increase the merchant's Velocity Limit. It will take about 2-3 weeks for the Velocity Review to pass, and the account will be quickly restored after the review. On the contrary, if the merchant does not pass the Review, the Velocity Limit will remain the same, or Amazon will impose more restrictions on the seller.
Notice Amazon’s Velocity Limit Evaluation is different from a Velocity Review, but a Velocity Evaluation may lead to a Velocity Review. According to Amazon, a Velocity Limit Evaluation does not take long. Amazon Mail
Evaluation Criteria During the evaluation, Amazon will check your feedback score and sales history to confirm whether the product sales surge is reasonable. If it is not reasonable, Amazon will start a review of your account, which will take a long time.
Account Status Once Amazon begins to review your account, it will completely suspend the seller's sales privileges and withhold sales funds, but logistics and delivery will continue. Amazon's review time usually does not exceed 30 days. During this period, you can actively seek feedback from buyers to help you pass the review.
