Alibaba International Station sets up service centers in many Central Asian countries and signs cooperation memorandums

According to SPOT, a well-known local media in Uzbekistan , Alibaba International Station recently established a local SME service center in the IT Park in Namangan, Uzbekistan , which attracted widespread attention in the local area.

It is reported that Namangan is an important transportation hub in Central Asia . Data shows that as of August this year, the number of merchants from Uzbekistan on Alibaba International Station has increased by more than 300% year-on-year, and the volume of goods has increased by more than 400%.

Zou Gang, vice president of Alibaba International Station's global supplier development department , said that the establishment of a service center by Alibaba International Station in Namangan can provide more convenience for local textile and clothing, industrial products, IT information technology and agricultural products to participate in global trade.

Not only in Uzbekistan, the Kyrgyzstan National Investment Agency recently signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Alibaba International Station platform, and will promote Kyrgyzstan's local products to the international market on the Alibaba International Station platform.

Umbriel Temiralev, director of the Kyrgyz National Investment Agency , proposed that Alibaba International Station invest in building warehouses in Kyrgyzstan. He also mentioned that environmentally friendly products are a potential area in the country's export sector, and that environmentally friendly products have performed very well in many markets around the world . Alibaba International Station staff said they are willing to help Kyrgyz exporters enter the trade platform and provide relevant cross-border e-commerce training.

It is understood that small and medium-sized enterprises in many Central Asian countries have already been engaged in digital trade on Alibaba International Station .
