Alibaba International Station March New Trade Festival First Week: Overseas demand for new energy charging piles increased by 218% year-on-year

In the first week of the New Trade Festival in March , the peak season for foreign trade , the overseas demand for charging piles on Alibaba International Station increased by 218% year-on-year, continuing the high growth rate of the past year. To this end, Alibaba International Station set up a special area for charging piles for the first time, and 295 domestic charging pile companies collectively settled in, covering most of the leading companies in the industry .

It is understood that charging piles have become the foreign trade products with the highest conversion rate on Alibaba International Station , and overseas buyers of new energy charging piles mainly come from the United States, Southeast Asia and Europe.

In fact, the export of new energy charging piles has continued to be hot in the past year. In 2022, the overseas demand for charging piles on Alibaba International Station increased by 245%.

Hezhisuaneng, a high-tech enterprise from Wuhan , sells its main charging pile products to more than 50 countries and regions around the world , and all of its overseas online customers come from Alibaba International Station.

At the same time, the technological advantages of domestic charging piles have also become an important reason for their continued hot export. In the charging pile trading list of Alibaba International Station, innovative products are at the top, such as: charging piles that can automatically limit and monitor temperature, charging cables with luminous current, and charging piles with automatic functions.

Ye Quanhai, founder of Wuhan Hezhi Digital Energy, said: "Domestic charging piles have accumulated great advantages in technology and product innovation, and are more favored by overseas buyers."

Not only charging piles, but also the overall foreign trade demand is showing a recovery trend, judging from the data of Alibaba International Station. On the first day of the New Trade Festival in March, the overall overseas demand increased by 30%. The growth in new energy, building materials, and mechanical equipment was the most significant, and the new opportunities brought by digital foreign trade continued to emerge.
