Contentbird (formerly LinkBird) is a hybrid keyword research and link building software. The tool helps users implement what they call the "Content Success Methodology" through a workflow platform, conversion tracking app, and content hosting service.

Contentbird offers a SaaS-based tool that combines aspects of SEO project management, CRM and control, enabling companies to manage, implement and evaluate their link building and content marketing campaigns. Used by over 500 companies, including Sixt, Homify, Zalando, Momondo, and more.

The best thing about this tool is that it connects to your daily browser activities which will show you some data like number of links opened to the website, number of sources from which the website was opened, etc.

Contentbird is designed to help companies increase their online visibility and win customers through online content.

The Contentbird toolbar can tie your Contentbird instance to your daily browser activity. You can see the following data directly at the top of each website:

·The number of links from opened websites (containing information about the project);

The amount of communication with the opened website (including information about the project);

·The number of sources from opened websites (including information about projects);

Check whether the website is in the user's domain blacklist or save the blacklist reason;

View saved domain themes and update them instantly;

View social metrics (Facebook, Twitter, Google+) of opened URLs;

View a user's Linkbird notifications, such as open to-do items, unread emails, newly discovered links, and more.

Development History

-Contentbird was founded in 2012 by Bastian Bickelhaupt and Nicolai Kuban and has offices in Berlin and Asia.

-In February 2013, Contentbird completed a round of venture capital for an undisclosed amount, with backers including High Tech Gründerfonds.

-In January 2018, Linkbird GmbH changed its name to Contentbird GmbH and announced that its total funding exceeded €2 million.

- In February 2018, Contentbird completed a venture capital round from High-Tech Gründerfonds, the Alstin Family, idealo.de founder Martin Sinner and other digital entrepreneurs.
