In the past two days, the brand "H&M" has become completely popular on major social platforms, but the way it became popular is very strange!


The cause of the incident was that the Swedish clothing giant H&M issued a notice, accusing the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of "religious discrimination" and "forced labor", and stated that it would no longer cooperate with any Xinjiang clothing factory, let alone use Xinjiang cotton or raw materials.


As the incident continued to ferment, many celebrities endorsing related brands announced the termination of their cooperation at the first opportunity, and netizens were even more angry.


As of now, Taobao, JD.com, and Pinduoduo apps have removed H&M-related products. H&M locations cannot be searched on Amap and Baidu Maps. Even many mobile app stores have removed the H&M Mall app.


In recent years, H&M has been expanding its market in China, opening more than 400 stores. But this time, H&M has completely angered Chinese consumers!


On March 25, Suning.com announced that the "Xinjiang Cotton Venue" was officially launched, and some T-shirts, towels, and bedding made of Xinjiang cotton appeared on the platform. Suning.com's official Weibo account said, "Once it's online, it won't be offline. If you want a deadline... well, forever."


It is understood that the "Xinjiang Cotton Venue" launched by Suning.com this time includes multiple sections, such as Xinjiang fruits, Xinjiang cuisine, Xinjiang cotton products, etc.


At present, the voice of boycott is expanding, and some big brands have also been involved. Many domestic brands have voiced their support for Xinjiang cotton, including Semir, Jieliya, Anta, Li Ning, etc. It is worth mentioning that Li Ning has directly printed the words "Using Xinjiang Cotton" on the product tag, and has always supported Xinjiang cotton with practical actions.


Anta also launched BCI immediately after the incident , and stated on its official Weibo that "it has always purchased and used cotton produced in Chinese cotton-producing areas, including Xinjiang cotton, and will continue to purchase and use it in the future."

Supporting Xinjiang cotton is not only an attitude, but also a kind of confidence demonstrated by the Chinese nation. Domestic brands are the real "light".
