Amazon releases new compliance requirements for plumbing equipment!

CEC will maintain an online Modern Equipment Efficiency Database System (MAEDbS )   Affected products must meet efficiency standards and must be registered in the database system and provide accurate information, including brand name, manufacturer name and model number .

The announcement shows that the new policy will take effect from February 14, 2022 , and Amazon will restrict the sale of plumbing equipment in California that is not registered in MAEDbS. Amazon reminds sellers to ensure that any plumbing equipment products sold on Amazon.com that may fall within the scope of such restrictions have been properly registered with CEC in MAEDbS and logged into the database . Sellers are also required to update relevant information and perform information matching.
