Harry Potter merchandise is seeing a sales boom on eBay!

On the 20th anniversary of the release of the Harry Potter movies , sales of Harry Potter- related products have soared. According to the latest data released by eBay UK, Pottermania is experiencing a revival .

According to data provided by the eBay platform, there are currently more than 550,000 Harry Potter-related product listings on eBay UK . eBay also said: If you have any Harry Potter memorabilia, now is the time to cash in and sell it!

Since the anniversary reunion was announced, searches for Harry Potter on eBay have increased by 22% . Searches for the character " Draco Malfoy " have increased by 34% , five times more than " Ron Weasley " . Searches for Potter's beloved sidekick "Hedwig" have also increased by 46% , twice as much as searches for the house-elf " Dobby " at 23% . Searches for "Chocolate Frog" have increased by 21% , and searches for " Sorting Hat " have increased by 17%.

Additionally, searches for Hagrid products on eBay.com increased by 44%, but searches for Hagrid on eBay UK decreased by 8% last month , suggesting the lovable giant has a more loyal fan base in the US .

What's more, the prices of original Harry Potter books have risen significantly. eBay said that original and signed copies of these books have been sold on the market for up to £5,500!

The top-selling Harry Potter books on eBay UK this year are:

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, first edition , second edition, Bloomsbury UK , priced at £5,500 ;

A signed fourth edition of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone sold for £4,750 ;

The first edition of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by JK Rowling , printed in 1998 , is priced at £2,950 ;

A first edition of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban , priced at £2,000 ;

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets , JK Rowling, first edition hardcover, priced at £1,900 .

In addition, searches for Harry Potter trading cards increased by 69% . The top-selling Harry Potter trading cards on eBay UK this year were: sealed Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban trading cards , priced at £1,888.86 ; and Harry Potter series sealed packaging trading cards , priced at £1,737.75 .
