What is Stadium Goods? Stadium Goods Review, Features

Stadium Goods is an American trendy brand consignment trading platform that mainly provides users with sneakers and streetwear from brands such as Supreme, Palace, Adidas and Nike, and cooperates with channels such as Amazon, Tmall Global Platform, eBay and Zalando.

About Stadium Goods

Stadium Goods was founded in October 2015. Its name literally translates to "sports goods," but it sells about 10,000 kinds of trendy sneakers. Stadium Goods has three co-founders: John McPheters, formerly the business development director of Flight Club (another trendy shoe store); Jed Stiller, a partner of a startup acquired by Groupon in 2014 (which means he has the start-up capital); and Yu-Ming Wu, co-founder of the sports shoe exhibition Sneaker Con (who also owns a sneaker media website).

Stadium Goods tends to resell streetwear-style items. Sneakers, clothing, and anything else you can think of in the street fashion world are likely to be here. The platform has a 10-step verification system to ensure the authenticity of the items. On the Stadium Goods platform, you will find the sneakers you are looking for are expensive, but there are also some bargains.

Stadium Goods sells all its products in its own inventory, which makes it more efficient in competing with traditional retailers. The products can arrive in as fast as one business day. Stadium Goods sells through multiple channels, including apps, physical stores, and direct sales, so that sellers can get a lot of exposure and get 80% of the agreed sales price. In 2018, Stadium Goods is committed to expanding its B2C (direct to consumer) business, online and offline physical stores and partner channels.

On December 13, 2018, Farfetch Ltd., a British luxury e-commerce platform, announced that it would acquire the sports shoe retailer Stadium Goods for a high price of US$250 million. After the transaction is completed, Stadium Goods will operate independently, and Farfetch will provide it with logistics, marketing and other support.
