I am speechless...A book seller received an email with food issues?

After working at Amazon for a long time, you can really encounter all kinds of weird things ...

A seller recently shared his experience selling books but received an email stating that they violated the Food and Product Safety Policy.

The book was first sold 12 years ago and has not been updated since then. The seller did not detail the violation in the email he received. The seller appealed, claiming that it was not a food item and it was difficult to see how the book could have safety issues, even though the book had not been sold yet.

In the subsequent response, the seller was informed that the product had been

” was deleted, again without providing details of the problem. According to the seller, the book was not packaged, but a reply was received stating that there had been a copyright complaint, and providing the seller with an Indian email address to which the seller could send a message regarding the reinstatement of the product.

In response to this situation, the seller said he no longer wanted to sell the book, but did not want to be marked as violating the regulations.

Moreover, the sellers are also confused. If it is a copyright issue, why is it marked as "food and safety issue"? The products sold 12 years ago are facing copyright disputes, and the sellers are also confused about the solution. Amazon has now deleted the product page of the book, but other versions of the book can still be purchased, including Amazon itself.

The seller subsequently sent an email to the provided email address to question the whole thing and deleted the product listing, but the seller's account had become "risky" and received the message "In order not to affect normal sales, resolve the problem immediately."

We don’t know whether it constitutes infringement based on the seller’s description, and this product was put on the shelves 12 years ago. In the seller’s message below, some people also said that if there is really no violation, the seller should continue to file a complaint to protect his legal rights. But the issue of books receiving food is indeed a bit speechless.

Although Amazon has a large market, it also has many rules and regulations. Sellers must strictly abide by the platform rules and must not take shortcuts.
