More than 30,000 reclining chairs were recalled, and Chinese manufacturing suffered again

The brand's chairs are sold in offline stores and on its official website, priced at about $240, which is considered a high-end product and much higher than the general price of reclining chairs on Amazon. So far, 18 reports of breakage or collapse have been received , including two minor injuries.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled this recliner, involving approximately 31,000 units, and advised consumers to stop using them immediately and return them. They can receive a full refund based on their order receipts.

A search on Amazon shows that there are many such reclining chairs, with different prices depending on the quality. The editor checked several models with relatively high sales and found that the problems are similar. Many buyers have commented on the quality issues.

Recall incidents on Amazon are not uncommon. Returns and refunds are not only troublesome, but also cause considerable losses to sellers. Sellers still need to strictly control product quality from the root, especially in product certification and review to ensure compliance with safety standards.
