More than 500,000 products were implicated, and two Chinese-made products were recalled

According to foreign media reports, nearly 500,000 children's clapping watches and 34,000 simple folding chairs were recalled due to safety issues.

The children's clapping watches recalled this time were imported from China by Wild Republic . The recalled batches were sold from March 2018 to April 2021. 463,000 have been sold in the United States and 75,000 in Canada .

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said : Parents should immediately stop their children from wearing the pat watch . The small battery inside the watch may fall out during use , causing the battery to be swallowed, posing a choking hazard to young children. As of today, no accidents or injuries have been reported.

According to reports, this clapping watch is designed for children aged 3 and above. The recalled products have 42 different models and colors . The faces of the watches are generally historical figures or animals, such as wolves , spiders , elephants , dolphins , frogs , pandas , mermaids or King Tutankhamun.

Investigations show that snap watches are mainly sold in places where children gather, such as Wild Republic.com, Amazon.com or zoo stores. The online price is about $8. The Amazon US site page shows that the English name of this children's snap watch is "snap watch" and it is currently on sale normally.

There is a huge demand for children's toys, which sometimes pose safety risks. Household items can also be misused if you are not careful. Some time ago, Canada urgently recalled a batch of simple folding chairs made in China.

The simple folding chair recalled this time is called " folding step stool " in English. It is made of plastic and is mainly sold in large supermarkets such as Costco. There are safety hazards during use. It may break or collapse accidentally, causing the user to fall.

From February to April this year, more than 34,000 of these products have been sold in Canada. Canada has received six accident reports so far, in which four people were injured.

Children's toys and folding chairs are daily necessities with huge demand, so safety issues cannot be ignored. In addition, foreign regulatory agencies strictly review daily necessities. Once safety hazards are found, they will be recalled and removed from the shelves immediately. In serious cases, the seller will be held accountable. In the course of business, sellers must ensure that the products meet safety requirements and increase sales while ensuring quality.
