He relied on the guidance of two Wayfair sellers from Ningbo who returned from the United States to do business at Wayfair , which helped him avoid many detours .

This Ningbo seller is the co-founder of CMI , which is a cross-border e- commerce company + offline large-scale supermarket supply and sales company mainly engaged in industrial products and home appliances. It is the earliest attempt to integrate traditional trade and e-commerce channels .

 

Currently, CMI has more than 20 physical retail channels and new online channel resource networks, including but not limited to Costco , Overstock , Home Depot , Lowes , Hayneedle , KOHL'S , etc.

 

Wayfair is one of the earliest sellers to join Wayfair , with monthly sales of one store reaching 16 million US dollars.

 

So Lao Feng strongly asked him to help connect with the two big guys in Ningbo and share the information , and expressed his willingness to pay for the communication.

 

They were reluctant at first , but were impressed by Lao Feng 's promise to find 50+ home furnishing factories to attend the conference so that they could expand and optimize their supply chain .

 

After N rounds of communication , the two Ningbo operation experts finally agreed to hold a small-scale training session and put forward various restrictions:

 

First: Video recording and photo taking are not allowed , only notes are allowed .

 

This requirement is understandable . After all, the experience of Wayfair 's operations is currently mastered by a small number of people . Once the video is recorded and spread , this industry will basically be on par with Amazon in terms of competition .

 

 

Second: Only manufacturers in the home furnishing category are allowed to participate . Sellers such as profiteers are not allowed to participate .

 

This restriction is because the two Ningbo bosses want to get to know more home furnishing factories through this operation training activity so as to expand and optimize the supply chain .

 

The content of this training is divided into four stages.

 

Phase 1: Primary Operations

 

Contents include: detailed rules of the Wayfair platform ; Wayfair VS Amazon VS traditional B2B ; practical operations and precautions for the entire Wayfair setup process ; solutions to errors that are prone to occur when uploading products, as well as system order processing + overseas warehouse processing .

 

Phase 2: Advanced Operations

 

Contents include: Operational Six Meridians Divine Sword (operational skills and strategies ); Wayfair product selection methodology and execution ; Castle Gate detailed introduction and practical experience sharing ; Things to note when dealing with Wayfair .

 

Phase 3: Practical content

 

Content includes: the entire process and examples of creating a hit product ; demonstrations of uploading products and processing orders ; and sharing of Wayfair case processing .

 

Phase 4: QA and Interaction

 

In addition to unlimited online question answering , all students can also register for a Wayfair account at a 50% discount .

 

The training session will be held on May 7 and 8, 2021 , at a hotel in Minzhi, Shenzhen (the address is only open to trainees) , and will be a closed and intensive training session .

 

Fee: NT$9,800/person for the first ten applicants , NT$12,800/person starting from the eleventh . 10% off for two people , 20% off for three people
