Beauty e-commerce platform Feelunique's sales exceed £100 million and its business has spread all over the world

According to foreign media reports, recently, British beauty e-commerce platform Feelunique reported its performance for the 12 months ending March 29 .

 

Third-party marketplace channel sales surged 695%

 

For the 12 months to March 29 this year , Feelunique sales exceeded £100m for the first time , reaching £103.5m. EBITDA reached £2.5m, up £7.5m on the previous year .

 

Feelunique Group 's total sales increased 26% thanks to strong growth in active customers, with retail sales increasing 24.4% over the same period , while sales in its third-party marketplace channel soared 695%.

 

During that period, the retailer added 660 new brands and more than 16,000 new products to its platform, including Jo Malone, Molton Brown and Olaplex.

 

Feelunique said its platform, now live in the UK, US, Germany and France, offers customers access to more than 800 brands and 12,000 products, representing 2% of its total sales.

 

Sarah Miles, CEO of Feelunique, said: “We are very pleased to have achieved record results in the 2021 financial year, driven by strong growth in our retail channels and the significant progress we are making across our rapidly expanding market proposition.”

 

He added: “During this period, we have focused on strengthening our customer proposition by expanding brand relationships and driving continuous improvement in user experience. This reflects our core strengths, namely customer proposition , proprietary technology and people.

 

With over 140,000 daily visits , Feelunique has expanded its business globally

 

Founded in 2005, Feelunique is a rapidly growing beauty e-commerce platform that offers customers the widest variety of brands and beauty products through its retail and marketplace channels , more than half of which are proprietary to the company.

 

Feelunique.com receives over 140,000 visits per day and ships over 18,000 products daily. Feelunique offers 35,000 cosmetics , skincare , haircare , fragrance and electronics products from over 800 established , independent brands to its 1.3 million active customers.

 

Currently, Feelunique's business has spread all over the world and ships to more than 120 countries around the world through dedicated websites in the UK, France, China, the EU and the US .

 

Sarah Miles said that Feelunique has laid the foundation for long-term and sustainable growth by continuously investing in its proprietary e-commerce platform and further leveraging the structural growth in e-commerce penetration in the beauty market .
