(1) UK company registration VAT number and related documents required

Application requirements:

• Company registration number and related information;
• A fixed trading place in the UK (Ebest can designate a legal contact address in the UK on your behalf); if there is no fixed business place and contact person in the UK.
• Other basic company information: business phone number, company website, turnover forecast and business scope, etc.;
• UK bank account information. The account name must be consistent with the company's registered name;
• Applicant (company director) information: including name, home address, date of birth, and personal tax number in the UK or its country of residence (if there is no such tax number, the applicant's ID number can be used instead, and the reason needs to be explained, and the application time will be extended accordingly).

Documents required:

• Registration application form;
• A copy of the director’s ID or passport or a copy of their UK passport/driving license.

(2) VAT number and related documents required for Chinese company registration

Application requirements:

• Domestic company registration number and related information;
• A fixed trading place in the UK (not the office address of the applicant's accountant/lawyer); if there is no fixed business place and contact person in the UK, you can designate our company as the UK VAT AGENT, with a fee of GBP 300/year or RMB 2,850/year.
• Other basic company information: business phone number, company website, company email address, turnover forecast and business scope, etc.;
• UK bank account information. The account name must be the same as the applicant's (company director's) name (see "UK bank account opening for Chinese companies/individuals" for details);
• Applicant (company director) information: including name, home address, date of birth, and personal tax number of the country of residence (if there is no such tax number, the applicant's ID number can be used instead, and the reason needs to be explained, and the application time will be extended accordingly).
