Dunlop Tires launches e-commerce business in Brazil

Dunlop Tires has launched its e-commerce business in Brazil , and its new e-commerce website has recently been launched.

Dunlop, a manufacturer of all types of tires, is celebrating its 10th anniversary in Brazil this year. The brand recently launched a new e-commerce website. The website offers a wide range of functions where consumers can find all the brand's products and maintenance tips. Its sales operations and business policies are official and not from distributors.

It is understood that Dunlop is responsible for the website's information release and technical management, and distributors participate in completing its sales operations. In this way, the website not only provides convenience for consumers who are accustomed to online shopping, but also strengthens the connection between the brand and its distributors.

When accessing the site, users enter their zip code and the page automatically loads with available products and prices offered by distributors. The platform sorts available products by category (Cars, SUVs and Pickups as well as Trucks and Buses), and for heavy vehicles, users can also select by application type: Hybrid, Regional, Road or City.

In the early stages of the Dunlop e-commerce platform’s launch, it will not be available in some northern Brazilian states (AC, AP, RO, RR and PA), but online shopping in these areas will be open soon.

Rodrigo Alonso, the company's sales and marketing manager in Brazil, said: "Today's society requires corporate innovation, and Dunlop is no exception. The new e-commerce platform was developed based on providing consumers with the best shopping experience. It will enable our products to reach anywhere in the country through exclusive distributors. In addition, we will combine online shopping with offline store supply to bring users a more complete experience by integrating sales channels."

The launch of the e-commerce business is part of Dunlop's celebration of its 10th anniversary in Brazil. In addition to online e-commerce, it also expands the sales network of heavy vehicle tires in strategic locations on Brazilian roads.

E-commerce is one of the fastest-growing industries in Brazil in 2020. With the popularity of online shopping in Brazil, more and more companies are starting to develop their e-commerce businesses.
