South Korea's online sales management platform Seller Hub announced on the 31st that the cumulative transaction volume has exceeded 200 billion won as of March 2021. Only six months have passed since the record of 150 billion won was set in September last year .

 

As of March, the number of stores (sellers and members) reached more than 29,000, the cumulative number of orders reached 7 million , and the monthly active users ( MAU) exceeded 300,000, an increase of 250% compared with last year .

 


Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, South Korea's online shopping transaction record reached 160 trillion won last year , and sales of small businesses such as household goods and health foods related to the pandemic increased by more than 500% compared with the same period last year. At the same time, the product categories of Seller Hub , a seller platform, are also diversifying, and its sales are also on an upward curve.

 

Regarding the benefits of Seller Central, 28% of respondents responded that sales have increased, especially small sellers in categories such as Food, Life & Health, Pets, and Used Goods have seen significant sales growth.
