eBay UK launches new promotion, new sellers can list 50 products for free

According to foreign media reports, eBay recently launched a new promotion for new sellers on the UK site. The promotion will last from February 1, 2021 to February 28.

It is reported that eBay will provide these new sellers with a 50 50 promotion offer in this promotion, that is, these new sellers can list 50 items for free in February, and enjoy a 50% discount on the commission for another 50 items.

To participate in the event, sellers must meet the following conditions:

1. Registered on www.eBay.co.uk in 2020;

2. The seller has a registered address in the UK;

3. Sellers have been invited to participate in this promotion and actively participate via email or the RSVP link in the Seller Center page before 23:59:59 on February 28, 2021.

If the seller is eligible to participate in this promotion, eBay will send an email to the seller, and the seller can also see the promotion in the seller center. Sellers who want to participate must enter the promotion during the promotion period through email or the RSVP link on the seller center page.

In addition, sellers need to activate this offer before the product is listed. Sellers who receive the invitation will receive two links, one to activate the free listing and the other to activate the 50% listing commission discount. During the event, sellers can create up to 50 new listings until 11:59 pm on February 28.

It’s important to note that this promotion is not available to private sellers and sellers who do not meet eBay’s minimum seller performance standards.

In addition, items that do not comply with eBay's listing policies or prohibited and restricted items policy, all items listed during the promotion period but scheduled to be online after the promotion period ends, all items listed in the "Properties", "Cars, Motorcycles and Vehicles" categories and the "Coins, Banknotes and Gold Bars" categories in the collectibles category, all items listed using the classified ad listing format, and commercial sellers who were registered as private sellers before the promotion period began are not eligible for the event.

Some sellers said that this event is a huge help for eBay's long-term business buyers, while others said: "This event looks great, but our current 4,000 listings are selling very well, so there is no need to create new products, and we don't have that much time every day."
