More than 30,000 sellers have joined! Commissions for 11 categories of products on Bol platform have been reduced

Bol is the largest e-commerce platform in the Netherlands , which was officially launched in 2011. Since its launch, more than 30,000 retailers have sold through the Bol platform.

In order to further attract sellers, Bol recently announced that it will adjust the sales commission and give sellers preferential treatment. The sales commission includes a percentage of the sales price and a fixed amount, which all sellers who sell on the Bol platform need to pay.

Adjust sales commissions to increase benefits for platform sellers

It is reported that from March 1, 11 categories of products on the Bol platform will receive lower floating interest rates , while 3 categories of products will receive higher floating interest rates , while the fixed commission amount remains unchanged.

The platforms will slash sales commissions on products such as animal feed , play chairs , baby hardware , printers and diving equipment . This summer , commissions on fashion and fast-moving consumer goods categories such as baby care , personal care , household products and health will be reduced.

But products such as Christmas trees , sex toys and sets , and Apple phones and tablets will require higher commissions.

Bol said that the commission reduction is to provide convenience to platform sellers . Sellers who enjoy the benefits can add more products to the product category and increase the sales price as much as possible. Bol is trying to increase the benefits of platform sellers by adjusting the platform commission.

Bol, the largest e-commerce platform in the Netherlands

Bol is now the preferred shopping website for consumers in the Netherlands and Belgium, with more than 8 million registered members and 5 million monthly visitors, and has maintained a growth rate of more than 20% for many years. Last year, Bol's turnover exceeded 1 billion euros, far exceeding Amazon and eBay Netherlands.

Bol platform offers many products such as books, music , movies , electronics , toys , jewelry , watches , baby products , gardening and DIY , pets, sports and leisure . In 2020, Bol platform has more than 23 million kinds of goods , with a wide variety.

During the pandemic, Bol has grown rapidly, with its business coverage increasing from 10.6 million to 11.6 million, becoming the largest e-commerce platform in the Netherlands . Recently, the relevant organization released the Top 10 European Cross-Border Sustainable Markets , with Bol platform topping the list.

As a platform with considerable traffic and low competitiveness, Bol platform is very suitable for novice sellers to settle in, and sellers can pay more attention to it.
