Beware! Amazon is strictly investigating illegal products, and you must not cross the policy red line

Some time ago, the riots in the United States had a significant impact on society. Many sellers on e-commerce platforms probably never thought that this incident would actually have an impact on platform products, or even the products in their own stores ...

It was precisely because of the riots in the United States that the popularity of related products on multiple e-commerce platforms skyrocketed overnight, sparking heated discussions among the public.

Amazon responded to this by saying that it is reviewing products on its platform, using a combination of automated and manual methods. As soon as this news came out, sellers of related products were worried whether their products were considered "dangerous goods" and were even more afraid that their products would be deleted.

Amazon has always been very firm in its attitude towards products that incite or promote violence, racism, and religious discrimination, and will never allow such products to be sold on the platform.

Last August, "Black Peter" -related products sparked heated discussions. In order to prevent incitement of racism, Amazon blocked the term "Black Peter" and removed all products containing patterns or words of this term from the platform.

It is reported that in the Netherlands, the funny-looking "Black Peter" is a symbol of traditional festivals. During every festival, "Black Peter" will bring happiness to people in its own way. It is precisely because of this that "Black Peter" related products are suspected of containing racial discrimination and are boycotted.

It is understood that the platform will make judgments and consultations based on various factors, regularly review products, update relevant policies and strictly enforce them. Importantly, the platform team has never stopped actively reviewing stores, and products that violate the policy will be deleted, and sellers will naturally be dealt with accordingly.

Amazon said that it removed 2 million products for policy violations last year , and more than 1.5 million products were identified and processed by automatic tools.

The riots in the United States have put some sellers and products at the center of controversy. Amazon has begun to review products and will take action against illegal products and sellers. Therefore, sellers must be careful in the near future, do not let down their guard, and do not cross the "red line"!
