On July 1, 2019, Amazon announced the launch of “Happy School Year,” a one-stop shop for back-to-school shoppers.

“The new school year and New Year’s Eve are similar in that they are both a chance to start over and set goals for a fresh start,” Amazon said in a press release. “That’s why Amazon encourages back-to-school shoppers to shop the Happy School Year store instead of forcing back-to-school preparations.”

The Happy School Year store will be divided into several sections, including apparel, accessories, electronics and school supplies. Shoppers will also be able to filter products by gender, age and size of their child.
