Works with Amazon Alexa is a certification program that ensures customers have the best smart home experience. When a seller's product is certified, it can carry the Amazon Alexa badge in the Amazon Smart Home Store and on product packaging.
Origin In June 2015, device manufacturers were able to use the Alexa API provided by Amazon to enable their devices to support Alexa.
Acquisition process It mainly targets the Amazon device accessories category. Sellers need to submit a "test description" through the developer platform. A round of testing takes 10 days. If the product fails, the testing agency will provide the fault information to the supplier. Products that pass the test can get WWAA certification and can be displayed in the Amazon Smart Home Store. This badge will also be displayed in the search results and detail pages, as shown below: Get time It takes at least one month to complete the Alexa certification process.
