On July 6, Cainiao officially launched its premium air cargo product "Priority", featuring "extremely fast, on-demand flights", covering Cainiao's 14 scheduled charter flights per week to Europe, America and South America. In addition, Cainiao can also launch customized aviation solutions for pharmaceutical cold chain, fresh food, auto parts, luxury goods, etc. Based on customers' growing demand for diversified air transport services, Cainiao's "Free Flight" can guarantee "no need to transport goods, and clear the goods in one flight", and deliver goods to the destination port within an average of 2 days, meeting customers' needs for special cargo and urgent transportation.
For example, during the promotion period, a European cross-border e-commerce merchant needed to urgently send a batch of e-commerce parcels from Yiwu to Europe. At 10 a.m. on the same day, he quickly booked a flight at 6 a.m. the next day by choosing Cainiao's "Free Flight" product. With the quick response of Cainiao's international air transport team, the goods enjoyed "VIP service" throughout the journey: priority was given to arranging the order of cargo loading after booking, ground service guarantees were upgraded, priority was given to entering the airport cargo terminal, and the goods arrived at Madrid Airport in Spain at 9 p.m. the next day, helping merchants replenish stocks in time during the promotion period and solving urgent needs.
It is understood that the launch of the "Free Flight" product is based on Cainiao's 6 weekly charter flights from Hangzhou to Madrid and 8 weekly charter flights from Hong Kong to Brazil to Chile and Shenzhen to Brazil. For customers who pursue extreme transportation efficiency, they can book space one day in advance, and Cainiao can coordinate internally to ensure that the goods can be "flying as soon as they arrive", which can improve the transportation efficiency by more than 50% at the fastest.
According to the latest market forecast for 2022-2041, e-commerce business will drive express logistics to grow rapidly at an average annual rate of 4.9%, becoming the most important new growth point in the air cargo market. By 2041, global international trade volume will double its current level, and express transportation business will account for 25% of the overall air cargo market share.
The head of Cainiao International Supply Chain Air Cargo told reporters that cross-border e-commerce will become a booster for the development of air cargo. Cainiao's "Free Flight" can greatly meet the e-commerce customers' demand for high-efficiency and high-certainty logistics, quickly mobilize aircraft capacity and ground support resources, open dedicated transport lines, and customize special transport plans to help merchants achieve higher cross-border logistics efficiency.
It is understood that for its main export air transport routes, Cainiao has currently launched three air transport products: "Priority", "Standard" and "Economy". logistics Rookie Europe |
