Big mistake! Woman bought a well-known brand belt but received the same one from SHEIN

In the fast fashion industry, many brands are actually suspected of plagiarism to a greater or lesser extent, and they often encounter situations where the goods do not match the ones in the pictures when they are shipped.

However, an Australian woman recently encountered an even more bizarre situation.

According to the woman, she bought a women's belt from the well-known women's clothing brand Showpo, but the goods she received showed the SHEIN logo.

"I wanted to order a set of clothes to attend a concert on Friday, but when I received the goods, I found that there was a clear SHEIN on the belt packaging."

She uploaded her experience to TikTok, and the video now has nearly 80,000 views.

The woman said she bought the belt from Showpo's official website for $31.45 , but when she checked later she found it was no longer available.

Later, she found the same belt on SHEIN's official website, which was on sale for only A$6.95.

"What the hell is Showpo doing!" she loudly accused in the video.

TikTok users commenting on the video were clearly as shocked as she was:

"I definitely wouldn't be able to stand it if it were me!"

"Ah, looks like someone is going to be fired."

“This is so disappointing!”

Showpo CEO Jane Lu also responded to the video in the comments section .

“Hi, I’m the CEO of Showpo. Oh my god, I’m shocked! This has never happened before and we are communicating with our suppliers .”

However, Showpo has not given any reasonable explanation so far .

Showpo is a fast fashion brand founded by Australian- Chinese Jane Lu in 2010. Since then, the company has grown steadily, with a turnover of more than 8 million US dollars and more than 650,000 fans on Facebook, with the turnover mainly coming from online channels.

After this blunder, Showpo's reputation may be greatly reduced in the eyes of netizens. However, many people also said that this is a common occurrence in the fashion industry.

"That's what fast fashion is like. Everyone copies each other. Maybe these brands get their goods from the same place."

However, SHEIN sells the same product at a lower price, which is considered to be more "conscientious" to some extent.
