It is reported that Etsy will encourage sellers to use price cuts to welcome the upcoming Labor Day promotion season. However, Etsy's promotional activities this year are only for Etsy's mobile APP users. Moreover, this activity was a global promotion last year, but this year it is only for the United States and Canada.
Another difference this year is the discount requirement for sellers. Last year, Etsy required merchants to give at least 20% discount and support global delivery.
This year, sellers need to offer a discount of at least 15% between August 31 and September 4, and a discount of at least 25% between September 5 and 6.
In addition, Etsy also told sellers that in order to make consumers' shopping experience better, it can launch a series of targeted discounts, such as "Thanksgiving Discount Coupons", "Abandoned Shopping Cart Discounts" and "Collection Product Discounts".
Sellers can find Labor Day sales announcements on the Seller Bulletin Board. On Monday, Etsy also posted key August shopping dates and upcoming shopping events on the Seller Handbook. Etsy Labor Day Promotions |
