Amazon's internal competition escalates? Black hat sellers buy negative reviews to launch malicious attacks

Today, the editor learned from the Amazon official seller forum that some sellers revealed that there are black hat sellers on the Amazon platform who purchase negative reviews and maliciously attack seller accounts.

Seller Krazy_Kool_Stuff said that he received an email from a black hat seller, which read as follows:

We are a third-party service company and this email is your final warning. We have received an invitation from sellers to conduct a "strike" action against your store . Since you are not competing fairly and trying to harm our customers' business, we will strike your store. We are a company specializing in broad accounts with more than 30,000 customer accounts. We will enter your store to purchase various items, then file a complaint and refund the cost of the items.

I have many accounts, and I believe that as long as we buy 50 orders from your store every day and keep returning them, and leave many complaints about substandard and counterfeit goods in product reviews, your store will suffer serious losses and even be blocked by the Amazon platform. Therefore, I hope that you will stop engaging in unfair competition and attempts to damage our customers' business after calculating the profits and risks.

In addition, Krazy_Kool_Stuff said that he had already given feedback to Amazon staff. Subsequently, sellers expressed their views on the matter in the forum.

Seller A: If you have documentation proving you are allowed to sell these products on Amazon, please report these messages to Amazon. If you do not have permission, please take down your listings before Amazon removes your selling privileges and cancels your account .

Seller B: This behavior is totally encouraging fraudulent purchases (returns with specific intent under false accusations). Fortunately, Amazon responds to these types of threats and takes action.

Seller C: You haven’t talked about the legitimacy of your item, or any documentation of your brand. I suggest you double-check your authorization to sell the item. The key issue right now is not you versus other sellers, but you versus Amazon’s evidence requirements.

The editor would like to remind you that if you encounter a black hat seller who purchases negative reviews and maliciously attacks your account, you must contact Amazon’s official staff in a timely manner to protect your rights and interests. At the same time, the brand of the product sold must be authorized to avoid being exploited by black hat sellers and maliciously attacked, causing unnecessary losses.
