Following the UK and Germany, eBay launched eBay fulfillment service in Australia

Recently, eBay announced the launch of eBay fulfillment service in Australia .

It is understood that eBay fulfillment Australia first established a warehouse and distribution center of tens of thousands of square meters in the Sydney area, and multi-warehouse services will be gradually launched.

David Ramadge, Product and Logistics Director of eBay Australia, said that Australia has always been an important market for sellers in Greater China, but this highly competitive retail market is full of challenges for cross-border sellers, as buyers require faster logistics and more transparent logistics tracking. eBay fulfillment will be responsible for the storage, packaging and delivery of goods, helping sellers save a lot of manpower, material and financial costs. Sellers only need to send the goods to the warehouse and distribution center designated by the eBay fulfillment plan.

According to eBay's official introduction, eBay fulfillment service has the following major characteristics.

In terms of delivery, if the seller uses this service, the package will be equipped with a unique logistics logo, and eBay will also help sellers meet Australia's logistics and delivery requirements. Transactions made before 4 pm local time will be shipped out on the same day. In addition, eBay also provides next-day delivery and full tracking services.

In terms of reviews that sellers are more concerned about, eBay will automatically remove negative reviews and bad transactions caused by logistics factors.

It should be noted that in addition to the eBay platform, orders generated by sellers on their independent sites or other e-commerce platforms can all be delivered using eBay fulfillment.

In terms of returns, eBay supports both direct mail and product returns from other platforms, and can automatically capture and synchronize return orders from the eBay platform. This is more user-friendly for sellers operating multiple channels, as it will save sellers the process of manually creating return orders, save return operation time, and improve the accuracy of return order information.

It is understood that Australia is the third market to launch the service after eBay launched eBay fulfillment in Germany and the UK in September last year and June this year respectively. eBay pointed out that since the launch of eBay fulfillment, thousands of eBay sellers have used the service.

eBay expects to expand the service to the US market next year and will continue to deploy it in other major e-commerce markets in Europe.
